Imagination launches offices in India

MUMBAI - Experiential marketing specialists, Imagination, has launched a new office in Mumbai, and is planning to launch a second India office in Bangalore this year.

A spokesperson for Imagination confirmed the launch of the Mumbai office but was unable to disclose an opening date for the one to be located in Bangalore. The group's Indian operations will be led by Udan Vijayan as director for Imagination India.

Headquartered in London, with its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong, Imagination now has 16 offices worldwide, and is also located in Beijing, Singapore, Melbourne and Tokyo.

"India is an exciting and exponentially blooming market and we aim to strengthen the footing of our global and Indian clients by creating distinctive brand experiences," said Mark Barrett, CEO, Asia-Pacific.

Imagination has already started work in India, designing stands for Land Rover, Ford and Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2012.
