JCDecaux tipped to win Changi Airport outdoor advertising account

The tender, a part of statutory government requirement, attracted prominent outdoor advertising companies including incumbent Eye Corp, JCDecaux and Clear Channel.

According to sources, the contract for the account, which will start in January 2011, was secured by JC Decaux.

Sources have also informed Campaign that Eye Corp had the account since 2006, prior to which it was with Clear Channel.

In a comment to Campaign, global marketing director for Eye, Janine Wood stated: "We are very busy fulfilling our contractual obligations to Changi Airport Group (CAG) and to our advertising customers, and remain committed to doing so."
