Cheung (pictured) came on board on 3 January. He resigned from his MD role at Impact Asia Hong Kong in December after being with the agency for nearly four years. He has extensive regional client servicing experience in working with international clients like Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Singapore Tourism Board and Chic Outlet Shopping in Europe.

“Jeremy will help strengthen our capabilities in retail, travel, luxury and hospitality - key focus areas for us in Hong Kong,” said Albert Shu, managing director of Weber Shandwick’s office in Hong Kong. “He will be a great asset to our growth in these industries as well as our existing client portfolio.”

Weber Shandwick China has made a series of senior appointments in recent months, including James Dyson as VP for corporate and public affairs, Venessa Seow as director for corporate and public affairs and Makoto Hamada as account director for consumer practice based in Beijing.
