Lenovo's Ajay Kaul named jury president for Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness

ASIA-PACIFIC - The Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness (FAME) has named its jury president: Ajay Kaul, Lenovo's executive director of global brand communications, worldwide marketing.

Kaul has more than 19 years of global marketing and executive management experience and has previously worked at Dell for eight years across brand management, marketing ops and pricing functions. He joined Lenovo in 2006 and currently manages the brand's global brand communications and analytics hub across 50 countries. He also oversees Lenovo's analytics teams and manages the Ogilvy advertising unit that serves Lenovo's global branding and advertising needs. 

Kaul's experience and skill will "stand him in good stead to lead the jury and decide on the region’s best marketing effectiveness work", commented Terry Savage, chairman of Lions Festivals. FAME 2013 will see newly added categories aimed at drawing "inspiring and interesting work from across the Asia-Pacific region," he added.

"The FAME awards have become the most coveted marketing event in Asia Pacific that celebrates the achievements of the very best," Kaul said. "I look forward to meeting some of the brightest marketing minds that have enabled world-class campaigns.”

The festival is a joint venture of Cannes Lions and Haymarket, publisher of Campaign Asia-Pacific
