SINGAPORE - LiveJournal, a Singaporean community blogging website, has appointed Ad2One as its digital sales agency.

LiveJournal appoints Ad2One as digital sales rep in Singapore
The exclusive partnership is designed to drive advertising revenue from the site, which currently attracts 953,000 unique visitors every month.

The site covers celebrity news, entertainment and technology and also acts as a forum for individuals and communities to participate in ‘sprees’, in which users collaborate to buy goods online. With an estimated 50,000 ‘sprees’ per year, the site is a driver of e-commerce activity locally.

“LiveJournal is a very popular destination for Singapore’s growing number of web users. To launch more localised services, we need to be able to develop our position in the advertising market in Singapore and we believe that our new partnership with Ad2One will help us achieve this,” said Boris Ovchinnikov, global project leader for LiveJournal.

Eliot Connor, commercial director at Ad2One, added: “We expect to be able to offer new ways of engaging this extensive audience shortly. With LinkedIn, Lonely Planet and SG Forums, we already have a detailed knowledge of social media and LiveJournal will only add to this."

In April, Ad2One was appointed digital sales rep for Yum.sg, a leading local restaurant website.
