Watsons has also charged M&C Saatchi with the development of future product launches under its Own Brand umbrella.

M&C Saatchi Guangzhou will develop the strategic and brand building creative executions for Pomegranate. The range of products include skin, hair and bodycare. Watsons is planning to develop a sustainable business for Pomegranate in the long-run.

Louis Cacciuttolo, CEO of M&C Saatchi South China, explains: “More attention and priority should be paid to the retailers’ private label brands because their brand equities are usually not strong.”
