Now in its third year, the Festival is an annual event targeting advertising clients and media planning and buying agencies.

MediaCorp’s increasing portfolio of media properties, beyond its core TV, radio and print, were showcased in a Cabaret-themed stage-show at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Spokesperson said 900 guests showed up, far exceeding the 700 RSVP’s they had received. The event has grown significantly over the three years, with attendance up 50 per cent from around 600 people in 2009.

Included for the first time this year were Raintree Pictures, offering in-movie advertising opportunities. Other non-traditional offerings included Out-Of-Home Media’s first mobile billboard; and Viz Pro’s live events like the upcoming Rocky Horror Picture show.

MediaCorp is also ramping up its digital properties, including iPad versions of Today newspaper and Style magazine; Me radio; apps including Channel News Asia; and venture with Microsoft, Xinmsn, which is now Singapore’s number one online portal.

It also highlighted the advertising opportunities associated with the celebration of its 75th anniversary in 2011.
