MediaCorp to operate media screens in Orchard Central

SINGAPORE - On the back of its partnership with ION Orchard, MediaCorp has been appointed by Orchard Central, another new shopping mall in Singapore's prime shopping district, to operate the mall's three media walls.

Two screens are located indoors and the third is an outdoor screen which is billed as the largest outdoor media wall in the city-state to date.

Orchard Central’s three media walls will be launched on National Day this Sunday, making it one of the first malls in the district to telecast the National Day Parade live to shoppers.

Branded as OCTV, the media walls will stream content from Orchard Central’s tenants and programmes developed for the mall by MediaCorp that touch on shopping, dining, fashion and IT as well as feeds from Channel NewsAsia.

The screens will also feature ads sold by MediaCorp's newly established OOH Media division, which launched last week, off the back of its partnership with ION Orchard .
