MediaVest Indonesia scoops BRI Syariah media business
BRI Syariah, a subsidiary of Bank Rakyat Indonesia and one of Indonesia’s largest commercial banks, handed the account to MediaVest Indonesia after a three-way pitch that involved incumbent ZenithOptimedia and CS Media.

MediaVest Indonesia scooped the account with a bespoke media strategy that is in compliance with the principle of Sharia, a first in Southeast Asia.

“The professionalism that MediaVest showcased during the pitch, and the deep understanding they have about our products and consumers, impressed us”, said Hanifah Fibianti, head of marketing communications, BRI Syariah.

“In today’s cluttered media environment, we believe that the sophisticated tools that MediaVest possesses, combined with the expertise of its team, will put BRI Syariah in a strong position in the battlefield."

“We are extremely excited to be working with BRI Syariah which is not only a new entrant in the growing Syariah market, but also part of a leading commercial bank in Indonesia”, said Bernaty Juliana, director, MediaVest Worldwide Indonesia.

“The client has been very supportive of the team’s approach to innovative and digital-led solutions, as we push towards creating ownable spaces for this unique category and product."
