Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia invites McCann Erickson on board

PETALING JAYA - McCann Erickson Malaysia has won the creative account for Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia from incumbent AsatsuDK.

Sources confirm that the account was won about three weeks ago following a pitch that also involved agencies Lowe & Partners Malaysia and Grey KL. 

McCann will be the main agency for creative around corporate announcements and product launches.

Mitsubishi Motors is Malaysia's sole distributor of Mitsubishi passenger cars. Its current vehicle line-up includes the Lancer Sedan and the Pajero Sport SUV.

The Japan-HQ'd Mitsubishi Motors Corp just announced it expects annual operating profit to rise by a better-than-expected 25 per cent on a rapid rebound in production and sales after the earthquake.
