The incumbents are believed to be Euro RSCG Adwork and Rapp Indonesia. The one-year contract covers all brands under Nestle, countrywide.

It is understood that Oze Power Switch, an Oze Indonesia subsidiary offering services for sampling, merchandise and brand ambassadors, will handle the majority of the activation.

This comprises 60 per cent of overall sampling duties, mainly in major cities like Jakarta. The first activation will start this weekend.

Nestle Indonesia has seen aggressive expansion in recent years, following $300 million worth of investments made over 18 months.

Generic pharmaceutical brand Actavis recently handed the creative duties for Dumin syrup, an over-the counter (OTC) brand, to Oze Indonesia. In June last year, the agency won the communication campaign duties for prepaid and media data services (MDS) for Indonesian telco XL Axiata, while DDB picked up BTL.

Iris ventured into Indonesia recently, in a partnership with the newly-minted homegrown group, the Nava+ group of brands. Indonesia is the fifth country Iris has ventured into Asia.

This affiliation came after Daya Maha Berkarya (DMB), Advis, Brainstorm and M2M Interface formed a partnership under the Nava+ Group of brands.  It follows DMB's split from DDB Worldwide in Indonesia, after a nine-year partnership.
