Ngong Ping 360 appoints JCDecaux Transport to outdoor advertising account

HONG KONG - Ngong Ping 360, the popular tourist destination and cable car on Lantau Island, has appointed JCDecaux Transport to its outdoor advertising business.

The contract is for three years.

The appointment sees the launch of new advertising concept, Ngong Ping 360 Advertising, allowing advertisers to place cable car stickers, light boxes and banner ads at designated locations around the entire site, including the terminals, the cable cars and Ngong Ping Village.

Amy Chan, deputy managing director of JCDecaux Transport, said: “Ngong Ping 360 allows advertisers to benefit greatly with on-target exposure and visual impact to more than 1.6 million visitors annualy.”

Wilson Shao, head of commercial and business development of Ngong Ping 360 Limited, added: “We have been very impressed with JCDecaux’s worldwide leadership in the outdoor media industry and its strong networks in Hong Kong and Greater China. The partnership with JCDecaux Transport provides us with a tremendous opportunity to reach a wide range of advertisers planning to leverage on the unique Ngong Ping 360 offer.”

JCDecaux Transport’s current clients include MTR, Hong Kong International Airport, Airport Express, Asia-World Expo, Pacific Place Passages and Macau International Airport.
