Promotions were centred on an online drama and other social media efforts including blog entries, a Facebook page and a Twitter feed. The story on sixlives.sg traced the lives of six friends and how they are connected through one event.

Launched in 2000, the movement is a nationwide initiative to encourage Singaporeans to speak standard English that can be universally understood.
