Plus Expressways appoints Trapper MPG, Media Contacts Malaysia as digital AOR

KUALA LUMPUR - Trapper MPG and Media Contacts, the media services and digital media unit of Havas Media respectively, have been appointed by Plus Expressways Berhad as digital AOR.

Plus Expressways operates and maintains the 973-kilometre length of inter-urban toll expressways in Peninsular Malaysia, stretching from the border of Thailand in the north to the border of Singapore in the south, linking all major cities on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The appointment takes effect immediately.

The scope of the assignment covers strategic planning, media planning and buying and search engine marketing.

K. Sivanathan, CEO of Trapper MPG, said, “Plus Expressways is a visionary company that has revolutionised travel in Malaysia in the last 20 years. That fact coupled with its blue chip pedigree, Trapper MPG is delighted to be recognised for our strategic planning abilities.”

Commenting on the win, Dinesh Sandhu, Malaysia country director Media Contacts said, “We have been appointed to drive digital awareness and marketing with a special focus on Plus Expressways’ loyalty programme, Plus Miles. Our activities will centre on consumer education and driving participation for the programme.”
