SINGAPORE – Founder and former CEO of Profero Daryl Arnold has set up a new agency in Singapore, Newton Circus, specialising in sustainable business innovation.

Newton Circus is described as a new kind of company, a for-profit company, but not just for-profit.

“We are a ‘for-people and planet’ company too. We have a wealth of experience and expertise spanning all corners of the globe. We have brought our collective talent and passion to Newton Circus in hopes of embedding sustainability into everything we do,” they said.

Heading up Newton Circus is CEO Daryl Arnold, who left Profero, the agency he founded, midway through last year.

Newton Circus’ two other founding partners are Jason Aspes, former regional creative director at Ogilvy & Mather in Asia, and Jonathan McKenzie, a former regional creative director for BBDO.

The new agency has consulted Fortune 500 companies, has invented new business models for start-ups and has given birth to an affiliate marketing network.

“If embedding sustainability into your company and improving the bottom line at the same time is something you are interested in, welcome to Newton Circus,” said the company website.

The name is inspired by both joining the scientific brilliance of Sir Isaac Newton and the creativity of a circus. But Newton Circus is also a nod to Singapore's famous hawker centre of the same name.
