SINGAPORE - R3 has appointed David Clugston (pictured left) as regional business consultant and Winny Yeoh as senior financial consultant, both based in Singapore, working on global, regional and local assignments.

Both David Clugston and Winny Yeoh will serve R3 clients on a broader basis.

Both will be based in Singapore, but will serve R3 clients on a broader basis.

“We’re delighted to bring in fresh talent, both in totally new areas for us, as we expand our roles and responsibilities,” said Goh Shu Fen, principal of R3.

Clugston joins from GroupM’s Mediacom, where he was regional director of business science, leading ROI insights across Asia-Pacific for Dell, P&G and other clients. He will lead R3’s new analytics division, tapping into a new partnership with US based Marketing NPV.

“Dave’s a true rocket scientist and an investment for us as we see more and more marketers seeking independent counsel on their marketing payback,” said Goh. “He’s going to bring logic and magic to measuring our client’s investment,” she added.

“I’m very excited to make the move to R3, because I see a huge need for more accountable marketing,” said Clugston. “Our mission is to give some financial and business insight on answering the big questions about spend, measurement and results,” he added.

Yeoh joins from a six year stint at PwC Asia-Pacific, along with prior experience at KPMG. Her skills include financial analysis and M&A consulting, servicing clients from private equity firms, marketing and financial institutions, local listed companies and large multinationals.

“We’ve decided to look beyond the advertising sector and find people who can see where business value is lost or won,” said Goh. “Increasingly our clients are asking us to give them a deeper financial perspective for their return on marketing — and Winny is perfectly placed to lead this type of work,” she added.
