Randy Xiao vice-president of Bates141 Beijing to depart

BEIJING - Randy Xiao (pictured), vice-president of Bates141 Beijing, has resigned from the agency after a year in the role. He is due to depart at the end of this month.

Arthur Yu, CEO of Bates141, will take care of Xiao’s work for the time being, while Richard Li, vice-president of Apax Beijing, a subsidiary of Bates141, will step into Xiao’s role.

Xiao was instrumental in the agency's Mengniu’s ice-cream account win last month, He also brought Li Ning's account in for Bates141, and worked on key accounts like Epson and Yu Tong Bus Manufactory.

Xiao joined Bates141 Beijing from Euro RSCG Beijing. 

He will take a short career break but will remain in Beijing. Xiao said he was in discussions with an agency in Beijing.
