Through the tie-up, Yolk will assist Singapore businesses to build a deeper understanding of the local market, how other businesses are performing, and consumer trends. It will assist Socialbakers to update local brands and media charts, in addition to offering the company’s analytics monitoring technologies in the local market.

Yolk will also create and publish local Facebook stories based on data provided by Socialbakers. The agency has already leveraged on Socialbakers’ platform for its clients Microsoft and Ciba Vision.

“Social media analytics is a nascent but fast growing area that is critical in today’s metrics-driven landscape," said Adrian Lee, chief of digital marketing and technology at Yolk. "Our partnership with Socialbakers will ensure that our clients receive the right data to make the best informed marketing decisions in a timely manner.”

Jiri Voves, director at Socialbakers, says Facebook statistics are particularly important for brands in a wide range of categories. “Being able to monitor and benchmark your presence on Facebook is crucial for companies which are active on Facebook. We are happy to be able to introduce our monitoring technologies to local companies in Singapore through our partnership with Yolk,” he said.
