Larptanunchaiwong was made the MD in February this year to manage Leo Burnett and Black Pencil.

The restructure was a part of the group's efforts to streamline operations into one group, achieve synergy and to attain the targeted revenue growth of 15 per cent in 2010 while offering fully integrated communication solutions in the market.

On-Usa Lamliengphol, chairman, Leo Burnett Group Thailand said: “Somkiat joined Leo Burnett six years ago as account management director and was promoted at the start of this year to managing director for Leo Burnett."

She added: "We’re grateful to him for his effort in helping us drive the growth and creative reputation of the agency during this time and wish him the very best in his new challenge.”

When contacted for comments, the CEO of BBDO Bangkok, Songkran Sethesompobe, had reportedly resigned from the position.
