Puneet Arora, MD of Starcom Hong Kong who has been with SMV for 10 years, will take up Leung’s role in early September.

It is believed that Leung will return to Hong Kong but could not be reached for a comment.

Leung was previously MD of Starcom Hong Kong for six years and resigned in January 2008. She has been working for Starcom for 15 years.

Starcom Hong Kong will not replace the MD role in the immediate future. The responsibilities will instead be split between deputy general managers Margaret Ho and Shirley Lau, both reporting to SMV Group CEO for Greater China Bertilla Teo.
