HONG KONG - Susan Field, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe-impactasia, has announced that she will resign from the agency.

Field (pictured), founder of impactasia, announced her departure at the company’s Christmas party last week. Campaign Asia-Pacific confirmed the news with one of the agency’s clients after the agency informed the client yesterday.

The agency also confirmed the move to Campaign, saying that Field is stepping down to "pursue other business interests and spend some long overdue time with her family".

The agency said it will not fill the CEO position. "CWIA is being run by managing director and chief branding officer Marina Leung in Hong Kong and Lydia Shen, managing director in China," Jill Tannenbaum, chief marketing officer, said in a statement. "They both report directly to global CEO Donna Imperato, who is based in the company's global headquarters in New York."

Field founded Impactasia in 1990. Cohn & Wolfe acquired impactasia in November 2011. Group MD Sarah Woodhouse resigned and returned to UK in September 2012.
