Iki was formerly global account director of TBWA Hakuhodo International, which focuses on Nissan. DeAnda is to assume the role of managing director of TBWA Media Arts Lab (MAL), a division of TBWA dedicated to the agency’s Apple account.

Iki joined TBWA in Tokyo in 2004, leading the global Nissan account team in Japan and working alongside network offices in 14 countries. He has 20 years’ experience in marketing.

In a statement, Ichiro Zama, president and chief executive of TBWA Hakuhodo, described Iki as a “great asset” and someone who acted as “a bridge between Japan and overseas business”. Iki was born and raised Japan but educated overseas. He has worked in a number of markets including the US.

Zama added that DeAnda had played an important role in expanding TBWA Hakuhodo’s global client base and would be missed.
