The Hoffman Agency announces series of senior promotions across Asia

HONG KONG – Public relations company The Hoffman Agency (HA) has announced a series of management promotions in Asia with Shingo Nomura stepping up as VP of North Asia, Dong Chen as general manager of China and Mayda Jutahkiti as GM for Singapore.

Nomura was previous the GM of Japan and led communications services for clients such as Google, Sony and Symantec. In his new regional management role as VP for North Asia, Nomura will be key to HA’s decision-making while providing critical support to the Japan team.

Chen is based in China and is promoted from a GM role at the Shanghai operation. Along with his responsibilities in Shanghai, Chen was also leading as acting GM of China for the Beijing office. He is now officially managing HA China, in charge of both Shanghai and Beijing.

Jutahkiti began her career at HA Singapore during 2004 and was been promoted to the deputy GM role last year. Previous experience includes strategic PR, corporate and marketing communications, new media consulting, community relations, issues management and media training. In her new role as GM for Singapore, she will be responsible for developing new business and managing operations in the country.

All three executives will report directly to Chris Tang, managing director of HA Asia-Pacific.
