Chen was previously the deputy general manager of the Shanghai operation. Since his appointment in HA Shanghai, it is said that he has expanded the client base five-fold. In his new role, Chen will also work closely with the Beijing office to maintain growth for clients in China.

Separately, Jenny Chan (left) is now the deputy general manager of HA Hong Kong. She began her career as an account director at HA. She has helped the company gain regional clients like Symantec and Objet Geometries.

Both Chen and Chan will report directly to Chris Tang, the managing director of HA Asia-Pacific. “Chan has impressed me with her McKinsey-esque mentality, strong consulting skills and leadership charisma. Hoffman’s vision is to become the McKinsey in the communications world.” said Tang.

“Dong's exceptional insight into the technology industry, in-depth knowledge of our clients’ business, outstanding strategic counsel and client servicing skills, combined with his extensive connection both domestically and internationally, has landed us new business opportunities and wins not only for China but for other markets as well,” Tang furthers.
