TLC showcases new programming across Asia-Pacific

ASIA-PACIFIC - Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) will launch TLC in the region on 1 September.

One of the fastest growing lifestyle channels in the US, TLC will replace Discovery Travel & Living in DNAP's portfolio of seven networks that includes Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, Discovery HD World, Discovery Turbo and Discovery Home & Health.

 

TLC will feature content focused on lifestyle, food, travel, the environment, home improvement and human interest stories. 
The channel will broadcast in Australia/ New Zealand, India, Malaysia, Southeast Asia and Taiwan targeting adults 18 to 45 with a slightly female skew. The channels will be telecast in English, Mandarin and Putonghua. 
TLC first launched internationally in Norway on 4 March this year and currently reaches 99 million homes in the US.
