Vietnam and China work cited in final Warc Media Awards

Mindshare, PHD and MediaCom pick up a total of five silver and bronze awards in the awards for effective use of partnerships and sponsorships.

Work from APAC agencies won three silver and four bronze prizes in the Effective Use of Partnerships and Sponsorships portion of the WARC Media Awards for 2019.

Mindshare won two of the silvers (one wth Click Media) and three of the bronzes for work in Vietnam in China, while MediaCom China grabbed a silver and PHD China earned a bronze. Overall, the jury gave out 14 awards: one grand prix, two golds, six silvers and five bronzes (see full winner list below, which also notes three special awards).

PHD UK and Fuse won the grand prix and the special award for successful sponsorship with work for SKODA UK, which leveraged sponsorship of the Tour de France to promote conversations about gender inequality.

This is the fourth and final winner announcement for the global case-study competition, which has a US$40,000 prize purse. The winners in the use of datachannel integration and use of tech sections were announced previously.
