Wunderman adds Krishnan Menon, Ian Chau to its Singapore office

SINGAPORE - Activation-driven marketing agency Wunderman has added Krishnan Menon as regional account director and Ian Chau as digital director at its Singapore office.

Menon will lead the Dell account, covering the strategic development and optimisation of CRM and digital programs across APAC markets.

Before Wunderman, Krishnan Menon spent three years at Kinetic Worldwide as regional director and country manager for Singapore. He has also held various positions at Ogilvy & Mather India for over 10 years, and gained extensive client management experience for clients such as Apple, IBM, Motorola, Pepsi, SAP, Unilever and Vodafone.

Meanwhile Chau returns to Wunderman from Cheil Worldwide where he was previously the head of Interactive. In this newly created role, he will focus on planning and optimising digital strategies and engagements for local and regional clients.

Chau has worked for Wunderman for more than three years managing digital and CRM programmes for regional and network clients in Singapore and Beijing, his key involvement includeds managing the Microsoft account across Singapore, India, South Korea and China.

Prior to Wunderman, he held various positions in China, Hong Kong and in the United States. His client portfolio includes brands like Microsoft, Motorola, Samsung, Kmart, Oracle and Foxconn.

"I am thrilled to welcome back Chau and add Menon to our team," said Michel Mommejat, regional network development director and office lead for Singapore. "They are strong experts and leaders, who will expand further our digital and CRM offering in Singapore and across the region."

In line with business growth around the region, Wunderman has transferred Michele Johnson from the agency's office in Germany to join the South Korea team.
