Y&R Malaysia promotes Lisa Hezila to MD and Gigi Lee to ECD

SINGAPORE – Y&R Malaysia has promoted Lisa Hezila to managing director and Gigi Lee to executive creative director.

Hezila reports to Sanjay Bhasin, CEO Southeast Asia, and Lee reports to Marcus Rebeschini, chief creative officer, Y&R Asia.

Hezila will manage the entire Y&R Malaysia operation, which was previously overseen by Robert McBrain, who left his post as Malaysia CEO last year to join Scanad, an African marketing services group, as managing director.

Lee will oversee the creative department of the agency.

They will work on the clients including Media Prima TV Networks, Cotra, Ferrari, Maserati, Colgate, CIMB Mapletree, EXIM Bank and UEMLand.

Hezila was previously Y&R Malaysia’s group general manager, a position she had held since August 2010, working on brands including Colgate, Campbell’s, Cerebos and Malaysia Milk.

She started her career in marketing with Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad before joining Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship Grand Prix as the head of marketing communications and sponsorship.

Lee was previously the agency’s creative director, having led the creative department for the past year.

She has been working on local and regional accounts including Tiger Beer, Guinness, Carlsberg, Kraft, Toyota, Lexus, Colgate, Campbell’s, KFC, local telecommunications providers and television networks.
