Best spaces to work: Rice Singapore

Rice combines a rebrand with new offices that offer a light, spacious and natural atmosphere.

When you’re making one big change, why not another? That sentiment seems to apply to Rice Communications—now just Rice—in Singapore, with the opening of a new Asia-Pacific headquarters coupled with the agency’s rebrand.

Previously in Tanjong Pagar, the new digs reside at Haw Par Glass Tower in Dhoby Ghaut. Standing at approximately 5,000 sq ft (2.5 times bigger than the previous office) Rice’s new home sports high ceilings, big windows with views of Fort Canning Park, and an open, airy feel with lots of space for people to work in comfort, both alone and collaboratively.

The reason for the move was simple: Rice has grown significantly over the past few years, opening offices in Myanmar and Hong Kong, and its APAC hub has expanded as part of that.

James Brasher, Rice managing partner, told Campaign: “The new brand builds on these strengths and the reputation we’ve built, while adding a stronger sense of boldness and confidence as a strategic communications consultancy that’s ready to seize new opportunities across Asia."

Note: 'Best spaces to work' merely highlights new and cool workspaces; it should not be interpreted as an endorsement of a company's overall work experience.
