Electrolux sparks imagination with vacuum-cleaner art

BANGKOK – Electrolux, collaborating with renowned Thai artist Chalit Nakpawan, has seemingly created a piece of art using its new vacuum cleaner, the Electrolux UltraCaptic.

wide player in 16:9 format. Used on article page for Campaign.

The content and social-based campaign, themed ‘Capturing imagination’, will be activated across Thailand and Southeast Asia by Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand's recently formed Live Creativity department.

The campaign's two-minute video (above) appears to show Nakpawan using the vacuum to create an imaginative coloured-sand artwork, titled ‘Power’. As the ad continues, he uses the vacuum to suck up the sand, highlighting the device's ‘compact and go’ feature, which compresses dust and dirt into a disposal pod to prevent it from diffusing into the air.
