Mustang growls, blows hair back in Indian airports

Kinetic Worldwide OOH installation for Ford uses viewer-triggered noise, fans.

Installed in Delhi and Mumbai, this airport ad employs a sound system and fans that trigger when a visitor steps on the red carpet in front of the wall. Or, as the agency puts it, "Once the content is triggered, an air blower and powerful car engine sound are also unleashed, providing a feel of speed, dominance and grandeur."

The agency reports that artifical smoke is also part of the "sensorial statement of power".

Although Kinetic should maybe cool it with the overblown verbiage, Ad Nut admits the ad would grab attention. In fact, it would send Ad Nut fleeing in terror to avoid the fate that has befallen so many of Ad Nut's homeys—being squashed under a four-wheeled monster. Ad Nut also wouldn't be surprised if the ad startles a few travellers.

This Instagram post perhaps shows the sensorial hair-blowing a little more clearly.
