Half of the top 10 campaigns and agencies from the global report are from Asia-Pacific, as OMD Singapore nabs top campaigns honours for McDonald's.

Strong showings from media agencies in Australia, India and China have given a shot in the arm to the industry in Asia Pacific, owning the upper tier of the latest Gunn Media 100 report.  In fact, the top four media campaigns overall all were produced in this region.

OMD Singapore won top campaign overall for its capacity-based McDelivery campaign for McDonald's which combined multiple data sets to give fast-food customers a more accurate estimate of when to expect their meal.

The next three spots were won by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne's much-lauded 'Hungerithms' project for Snickers, the Melbourne offices of Leo Burnett and Starcom work for anti-bullying charity Headspace and MediaCom Mumbai's 'Bachelor of Shaving' campaign. PHD Shanghai then took ninth spot for 'Yasmin's Sex-Ed Revolution'.

The report's results are calculated by using the winners' lists from nearly 30 of the world's top award shows with points alloted by level of award.  Competition weightings are derived from a survey of senior media agency management.

While MediaCom London claimed top media agency overall, Asia Pacific placed five agencies in the top ten led by Mindshare Mumbai in third place.  The next four to follow were PHD Shanghai (4th), Mindshare Shanghai (5th), Clemenger BBDO Melbourne (6th) and MediaCom Mumbai (7th).
