The thriving metropolis of Shanghai is fast becoming the hub for business events in East Asia. From incentives, to product launches, to large-scale conferences, the city should be on the international radar of event planners.

With this growth in mind CEI Asia, in association with Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, is conducting a short survey to better understand how event planners are doing their best work in Asia.

While the more traditional checklist of budget, location, F&B, capacity and service standards is under the microscope, the more nuanced social and cultural conventions involved in planning an event in China are also covered here, and certainly deserve their due attention.

The brief survey takes just minutes, and upon completion, respondents will be entered to win one of two prizes:

  • A 2-night stay in the Imperial Suite with executive lounge access (a value of US$7600)
  • A 2-night stay in the Diplomatic Suite with executive lounge access (a value of US$500)
