Carat Korea said it would provide strategic planning and buying in both traditional and new media, broadcast sponsorship, event promotions and outdoor advertising.

Last August, Diageo called a creative pitch for its Johnnie Walker brand in Korea. Its creative account is reportedly divided between Innocean, Grey and TBWA.

Diageo recently appointed Cho Kil-soo, former vice president of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, as its managing director.
