He joined Carat as group account director in 2006, after stints as planning director, head of buying and business director at Zenith and Universal McCann. Fan has close to 20 years experience in media, starting out as a trainee media planner back when media was still a department within agencies. He has worked on some of the biggest international and local brands across all different industries.

Also, to his credit are a string of new business wins and outstanding organic growth. His team was recently evaluated as one of the best performing amongst Nokia teams in Asia-Pacific. Fan was also voted, for two years running, as Best Innovator and Best Integrator respectively in Aegis Media's annual company-wide contest to honour outstanding performers “.
In his new role as GM, Fan will support Tan in managing the overall business as well as the day-to-day management of the agency. There will be special emphasis on new businesses and enhancing collaboration with Carat’s group of companies. Fan will continue to manage key accounts.
