Lilian Lam, general manager of communications at Chanel Hong Kong, confirmed the news via email.

The PLUS team includes incumbent MEC, Mindshare, AKQA and Ogilvy.

The global media pitch began in January and also included OMG and Starcom. The scope was initially limited to media but was extended to comprise creative and digital.

"This new model will allow Chanel to access WPP's best talent with media at heart," Lam said.
