Cheil picks up US$7m CJ Entertainment brief

SEOUL – CJ Entertainment, a leading Korean entertainment company, has appointed Cheil Worldwide to handle media duties worth around US$7 million.

According to a spokesperson from Cheil, the agency has been selected to establish a plan for “organisational management and media schedule, as well as proposing new joint marketing and agency-related services”.

The spokesperson added that the agency would be expected to develop comprehensive, customised marketing services for CJ Entertainment.

CJ Entertainment is a subsidiary of domestic conglomerate CJ Corporation and is best known for film production and distribution. It is the largest entertainment company in the market and acts as distributor for Paramount Pictures.
