Cheil Worldwide appoints SJ Kimm as head of Southeast Asia

SINGAPORE - Cheil Worldwide has appointed SJ Kimm (pictured) as president and head of its regional headquarters in Southeast Asia.

Based in Singapore, Kimm was formerly charged with Samsung’s global sports marketing and Olympic sponsorship management in Cheil’s Seoul office.

He also led the Korean electronics giant’s sponsorship of Chelsea football club and other partnerships with the Asian Games, World Cyber Games and media partnerships with AETN and National Geographic.

Kimm was formerly marketing director at HSBC Korea and has also spent time at FIFA Marketing AG, the marketing arm of the international governing body of football.

He reports to Bruce Haines, global president and COO of Cheil Worldwide, in Korea.
