A DDB veteran of nearly seven years, Tai replaces former chief strategy officer Wendy Ong, who left DDB for UOB, where she is currently executive director, head of group retail marketing. He also takes the place of Joanna Hunhsien Tan, who in August left her role as MD of Rapp Singapore to head Asia-Pacific for Tag Worldwide as managing director.

At NagaDDB, associate planning director Yap Soon Min has stepped up into Tai's role as planning director across NagaDDB, Tribal and Rapp. He will also hold a second role as planning director for Naga's parent company group, Foetus International.

Yap has been with NagaDDB since 2009 and prior to that was an associate planning manager at BBDO Malaysia.

NagaDDB is in the process of hiring a replacement for Yap.
