Discovery HD World launches in Thailand

The new HD network will be available in Thailand on Channel 126 for Gold and Platinum subscribers at US$16 per month.

It will feature new content, including Baltic Coasts, True Crime with Aphrodite Jones, and A Country Imagined, which maximises the potential of high-definition technology.

Tom Keaveny, executive vice president and managing director, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific said the launch of Discovery HD World expands its portfolio offering in Thailand to seven networks, including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, Discovery Science, Discovery Home & Health as well as Discovery Turbo. 

“Discovery HD World is part of a new and comprehensive HD line-up that offers world-class content in stunning high-definition and which is exclusive to TrueVisions,” Thiti Nantapatsiri, managing director at TrueVisions PCL, said.
