Discovery HD World launches in Thailand

THAILAND – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific and TrueVisions Public Company Limited have launched Discovery HD World, as part of the latter’s HD pack.

The new HD network will be available in Thailand on Channel 126 for Gold and Platinum subscribers at US$16 per month.

It will feature new content, including Baltic Coasts, True Crime with Aphrodite Jones, and A Country Imagined, which maximises the potential of high-definition technology.

Tom Keaveny, executive vice president and managing director, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific said the launch of Discovery HD World expands its portfolio offering in Thailand to seven networks, including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, Discovery Science, Discovery Home & Health as well as Discovery Turbo

“Discovery HD World is part of a new and comprehensive HD line-up that offers world-class content in stunning high-definition and which is exclusive to TrueVisions,” Thiti Nantapatsiri, managing director at TrueVisions PCL, said.
