Electrolux names BBDO Vietnam as AOR

HO CHI MINH CITY - Swedish home appliance manufacturer Electrolux has appointed BBDO Vietnam as its agency of record, to handle its branding and communications duties.

This win comes after a pitch that also involved incumbent Ogilvy. BBDO Vietnam had worked with Electrolux for the past two years on several projects.

David Smail, chairman and executive creative director of BBDO Vietnam, said, “We’re delighted to be officially named Electrolux’s agency. It’s a prestigious brand, offering good opportunities for great work. And the Electrolux team is brilliant to work with.”

Lynn Ong, general manager at Electrolux Vietnam Ltd, meanwhile said the work BBDO Vietnam had done previously had helped set Electrolux apart from its competitors, being spot on with regards to the brief and strategy

Elizabeth Png-Reade, brand and consumer communications director at Electrolux, added, “We really appreciate the friendly business relationship we have with BBDO. It’s a pleasure to work with people who understand the meaning of meeting our needs.”
