The OOH campaign, launched March 2011, uses huge 3D figures of mosquitos resting above selected bus-shelter panels at locations across Singapore including Ang Mo Kio, Upper Changi, Jurong East, Clementi, Newton, Orchard and Chinatown.
Through the creative maximisation of the space above 30 panels, a gigantic mosquito is placed in a position which replicates it caught in the act of sucking blood. The shock factor this creative campaign presents serves to draw the attention of the public, reminding them to play their part in the real life danger dengue mosquitoes present.
In support of NEA’s pro-active dengue fever prevention campaign, Clear Channel Singapore customised a national network with an emphasis on sites present in dengue hotspots. 250 posters encouraging the public to carry out the ‘5-step mozzie wipeout today’ are displayed island wide, encouraging the public to protect the people they love. The 3D creative concept is an addition to their poster campaign, which draws upon the concept of family.
