The much-anticipated Goafest will now take place at the Westin Powai in Mumbai from May 29 to 31.

In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club (TAC) have decided to relocate the Goafest 2024 and ABBY Awards (with One Show 2024) to Mumbai. Scheduled from May 29 to 31, the 17th edition of this flagship festival will be hosted at the Westin Powai.

Prasanth Kumar, president of AAAI and CEO of GroupM South Asia, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to bring Goafest to Mumbai this year, despite some logistical challenges. This decision underscores our commitment to maintaining this event as a pivotal occasion for industry innovation and progression. Attendees can expect a host of insightful sessions aimed at fostering industry growth. Furthermore, we're excited to announce that Goafest will return to its original venue in Goa in 2025."

Rana Barua, president of The Advertising Club and Group CEO of Havas India, highlighted the significance of the ABBY Awards, "The ABBYs continue to celebrate remarkable achievements in advertising and marketing. This year, we're particularly excited to honor the exemplary work from 2023 at our upcoming event in Mumbai. We are currently finaliding a dynamic agenda for the event."

The Goafest organising committee expressed its gratitude to all partners, members, and stakeholders for their understanding and support during the venue transition.
