The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club have announced 'The age of adaptability' as the theme for Goafest 2024.

The event, scheduled for May 29 to 31 at the Westin Powai in Mumbai, aims to showcase the resilience and innovation within the advertising and marketing sectors amid rapid technological and economic changes.

Goafest 2024 will gather leading figures from advertising, marketing, media, and business to discuss the importance of adaptability in today's volatile market. According to Jaideep Gandhi, chairperson of the Goafest Organising Committee, the festival will highlight creative flexibility and strategic evolution necessary for industry success.

A chameleon has been chosen as the mascot for 2024, symbolising the industry's need to continuously evolve in response to changing environments.

“This year, at Goafest 2024, our central theme 'the age of adaptability' has a chameleon as a mascot. The chameleon is a creature known for its remarkable adaptive prowess, which adjusts its colours to match its environment. Our industry too, must continuously evolve its strategies and creative approaches to thrive in changing landscapes. This year’s festival will celebrate and cultivate the chameleon-like ability to adapt swiftly and effectively, ensuring our practices remain on the cutting-edge of creativity and relevance," shared Rohit Ohri, chairperson of the Goafest Content Committee.

The festival will include keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops featuring international experts, focusing on digital transformation, consumer engagement, sustainable practices, and content evolution. Additionally, the Abby Awards will be held to honour outstanding creative achievements in advertising, offering extensive networking and partnership opportunities for attendees.
