High-profile marketer Richa Goswami leaves J&J

One of Asia-Pacific's best known marketers, Richa Goswami, is leaving her position at Johnson & Johnson after five-and-a-half years. Most recently global head of digital, Goswami held several roles during her time at J&J based in Singapore, including global head of content and Asia-Pacific head of total brand experience.

In a LinkedIn post confirming her departure over the weekend, Goswami called J&J's brands "iconic" and its culture "deeply purpose-led and authentic."  Paying tribute to the health care company and her colleagues, she noted: "Changing the trajectory of health for humanity has never been more real and  critical and I will always be so incredibly proud of the countless times J&J has stepped up and will continue innovating to do so."

An active and outspoken member of Singapore’s marketing community, Goswami was named to Campaign's inaugural Power List in 2018 and was nominated as a top six finalist for the WFA's Global Marketer of the Year award in 2019.

A TEDx speaker, Goswami has served on juries at key industry events like the Tangrams effectiveness awards and the Mobile Marketing Awards. With a reputation as a digital innovator, disrupter and fintech pioneer, Goswami held senior roles at HSBC and Standard Chartered before moving into the health and wellness space six years ago.

Contacted by Campaign, Goswami declined to comment on her departure or her next move for this article.
