Ion Orchard appoints Tribal DDB
Ion Orchard is part of a retail-cum-residential development located in Singapore’s Orchard Road and jointly owned by CapitaLand Limited and Hong Kong’s Sun Hung Kai Properties. It opens in July 2009, and is expected to house innovative retail concepts from some of the world’s top luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands.

Tribal DDB will launch a digital campaign and thereafter all digital brand communications for Ion Orchard, locally and in the region. In November 2007 DDB Singapore won the creative for Ion Orcard after a six-way pitch.

Talking about the launch campaign, Jeff Cheong, head of Tribal, revealed” “We are working on the teaser campaign now. It promises to be a showcase of ‘lux-nology’ and beautiful craft.”

Cheong hinted that among other communication channels, a Facebook group which has been set up recently would unveil exclusive updates leading up to the launch.
