JWT wins Dove digital account in Australia

JWT Sydney will be the digital AOR for Dove deodorants, hair care and skincare. The remit includes localisation of the brand’s global 2013 strategy, development and implementation of the brand content strategy and management of all owned channels, according to the agency.

John Gutteridge, JWT Australasia CEO, cited "incredible chemistry" with the Unilever team, while Lana Taylor, Unilever marketing manager said the appointment was based on JWT's "strong digital creative capability and enthusiasm for the brands they work on, as demonstrated by their work with the hair care team”.

"Dove is looking to tighten its online brand experience to align with the brand equity," said Milly Hall, JWT Sydney senior account Director. "It’s an inherently social brand, so we will harness this online and in social to strengthen the brand’s engagement with consumers."
