Loren Shuster exits SingTel for Google

SINGAPORE – Sources have confirmed that Loren Shuster is leaving SingTel for a Singapore-based role with Google Asia Pacific.

Shuster joined SingTel as vice president (consumer marketing) consumer group, on 1 November 2010.

Prior to that he was with Nokia for over ten years, most recently as senior vice president marketing go-to-market.

Google had not responded to Campaign’s queries at press time, however it is known that Shuster will be based in Singapore.

It is also known that Google Asia Pacific was recruiting for a Singapore-based head of consumer marketing, Southeast Asia.
