Nestle Thailand appoints JWT Connect to handle multiple brands

BANGKOK - Nestle Thailand has awarded the digital work for a large portfolio of brands to JWT Connect, the digital unit of JWT Bangkok.

Nestle Thailand appoints JWT Connect to handle multiple brands

It is believed that the appointment was made without a pitch. It will see the agency handling digital marketing duties for all of Nestle Thailand’s ice cream business, including its Eskimo, Extreme, La Frutta and Lucky 13 brands, as well as for Kitkat and Maggi.

Nestle Thailand also handed the agency the responsibility for its corporate and community websites in Thailand. It will work on the Nestle Thailand Corporate website, the “Good Food, Good Life” community website, and Nestle’s “dek Thai dd” website, which promotes a healthy lifestyle for kids.

Hansa Wonsiripitack, business director at JWT Connect, said Nestle understands the growing importance of digital marketing. “Thai consumers are spending more time on social media and online, and it’s critical that brands connect with them, in an impactful way, in the digital space,” she added.
