Niblock to depart BBC.com

LONDON - Kym Niblock has stepped down as managing director of BBC.com after three years at the broadcaster.

She will be succeeded by Luke Bradley-Jones, who has been appointed executive vice-president and managing director of the site. Bradley-Jones will be responsible for ongoing strategic direction and management, according to a statement from the organisation.

Bradley-Jones has worked at the BBC since 2006. He will relocate to London from New York, where he has served as executive vice-president of digital media and business development of BBC Worldwide.

Niblock’s next move has not been disclosed. She joined the BBC from a background in commercial media. Previous roles include stints at UK satellite operator BSkyB and Nickelodeon International.

As the BBC’s international commercial arm, BBC.com currently has around 400 advertisers.
